Why Truth and Beauty??  I'm at the point in my life where understanding this Truth and Beauty concept gets easier with age, but ironically harder to find the older I get. I realize everything I value, besides people, are simple truths I have discovered and beauty that I have seen, experienced or maybe even created.

The bicycle has been one of the greatest vehicles in life to discover, experience and share truth and beauty. Even the most successful riders know in their hearts that the bicycle has also been a vehicle in life and at the end of the race/life, it's the memory of the experience that lasts.

Video is an effective and fun way to share our passion of riding, and there are so many great action sports videographers from 14 year-old Australians on youtube to the big dogs who run their own production companies. I wanted to share some riding experiences in a new way, so I worked for a couple years on stereoscopic production and thought applying it to a bike movie would be cool. The result, of course, is this video.

The video segments are as follows:

1. Intro - just some fun riding put to house techno- hey, I'm from Philly!

2. Ladies First -Stephanie Nychka- I wanted little girls in a room with their brothers watching this bike movie to see that women can have just as much passion and skill for the sport.

3. U.S. Open - Great east coast event with many of the world's top names making their annual appearances.

4. Rays Indoor Moutnain Bike Park - Ray Petro has created a little slice of heaven for riders in Cleveland. He is actually a rider in the movie, try to spot him in the Ray segment and credits.

5. Redbull Rampage - premier big mountain event in this country, maybe the world.

6. East Coast Racing - footage from U.S. National Championships and Whiteface 5K Race

7. Jim Dellavalle - One of my favorite riders who coaches for Shuams March, designs and rides for Mountaincycle, met his wife while downhilling and is just a great guy.

8. Highlands Park Claymor Challenge- Mark Hayes and Dave Smutok have designed a dynamic slopestlye course and really fun mountain. Watch all the big trick names battle for the first Claymor Challenge title. Jason Lalla shares his experience, passion and is a person whom I admire.

9. Fun Stuff- some Mt. Snow Slalom action, the best dirt jumps in PA, and my favorite junior racing family.

I hope you enjoy the video and find truth and beauty in whatever you do!
